The Great Marlin Race

On Sunday, November 20, a second tag reported from the San Juan International Billfish Tournament.  This tag was from Fish 1, a 150-lb. blue marlin tagged by Charles Donato on Islamar. The tag reported about 178 nautical miles southeast of Puerto Rico, putting it in second place behind Fish 5, whose tag reported 419 nautical miles south from where it was tagged.

There are four other tags that have been deployed, which are due to report in early January.  There are also still four tags remaining to be deployed, so keep checking back for updates.
